Course Content

  • Transforms regular waxing skills to a Waxperts standard.
  • Waxperts product knowledge, client consultation, contra-indications,client care, positioning, aftercare, hygiene standards.
  • Double dipping.
  • Includes tuition on female face, body and intimate bikini waxing.

Students have access to online resources, tutorials and on-going support from the Waxperts Academy Education Team.

Study Method

Your course will be studied through distance learning, meaning you can learn the course at a time and place that suits you. Your course materials will be available to you online via tutorial videos and Waxperts manual. The course itself is self-contained to the online portal and anything you need for your course is on here.

Course Completion Guidelines

  • Students must view 90% of a video to advance to the next lecture/section.
  • Multiple choice exam to be taken online, 80% pass rate needed.
  • 5 case studies to be completed and submitted online.These case studies will be graded by the Waxperts Educator. Grading can take up to 14 days from the case study submission date.
  • Course is recommended to be completed 3 months from enrolment date.
  • Access to online course content for 1 year.

IMPORTANT: All body and bikini wax imagery submitted with each case study, will be handled confidentially and in accordance with GDPR guideline by the appointed Waxperts Educator. All images will be permanently deleted once each case study has been graded.

ALL ABOUT WAX

Hot wax is applied in a thick layer and left to harden before being removed in one piece. This works better on sensitive areas such as the face, and underarms. Strip wax is applied in a thin layer and removed with a disposable strip, which is better for larger areas with softer hair, such as the legs, back, and arms.

ALL ABOUT OIL

Oils are used throughout the waxing process to ensure a better result. Prewax oil makes the waxing process more comfortable and less painful. Whereas after-wax oil is ideal for soothing the skin and removing any wax residue.

ALL ABOUT CLEANSER

Our cleansers are great for removing oils, makeup, bacteria, perspiration, and anything else that might get in the way of the perfect wax.
